Teacher Exchange Program

Whizzix USA and Whizzix International offer you the chance to become a cultural ambassador, fostering understanding and shaping the minds of future generations.

Broaden Your Horizons and Become a Cultural Ambassador

Our exchange program places teachers in classrooms across the United States, empowering them to share their unique talents and enrich the learning experiences of American students. This journey is not only a professional and personal milestone but a transformative experience that bridges cultures and creates lasting impact.

Participants in our program form connections and build friendships that endure long beyond their time in the U.S. The relationships built with students, fellow educators, and community members become cherished memories, fostering a sense of global unity. In today’s increasingly
connected world, programs like ours emphasize the importance of cross-cultural education, which prepares individuals to address complex challenges with empathy, insight, and innovation. We are building bridges across continents, and our teachers are the essential foundation holding these bridges strong.

The Lasting Impact of Cultural Exchange

Teachers who participate in international exchange programs gain invaluable advantages in today’s globalized economy. By immersing yourself in American culture, you’ll develop new skills, perspectives, and the ability to inspire diverse, critical thinking in the classroom. You’ll
help shape U.S. students with cultural awareness and global mindsets that will benefit them in a rapidly evolving world. When you return home, you’ll bring back this experience to enrich your own community, sparking greater Cultural Exchange and understanding wherever you go.

Timeline

At Whizzix USA and Whizzix International, we take pride in supporting our teachers at every stage, from the moment they apply to the day they return home. Our program includes guidance through each of these seven key steps in the application and placement process.

Screening & Selection

Your journey begins with the submission of a free application and a video introduction. The Whizzix USA team will carefully review all applications during our screening and selection process. Selected candidates will then schedule a phone and/or virtual interview with our team. To help ensure your success, Whizzix USA provides dedicated resume and interview preparation support.

Credential Evaluation and Resources

Once accepted, Whizzix USA will assist you in ensuring all academic documents and teaching credentials are evaluated by a U.S.-based evaluator. At this stage, we also offer resources on the American education system and the interview process, equipping you for each step of your teacher exchange journey.

Host School Vetting & Job Coordination

Whizzix USA carefully vets prospective schools to assess their suitability for a teacher exchange program and determine their staffing needs. Qualified candidates will be scheduled for live phone and/or video interviews with potential partner schools. We’ll help secure job offers and provide detailed information about the schools, their communities, local cost of living, and important program details.

Sponsorship

Whizzix USA or our trusted partner organization will sponsor your Cultural Exchange visa for the duration of your teacher exchange program. After securing and accepting a job offer, you’ll receive a DS-2019 form, which allows you to apply for a Cultural exchange visa. We’ll guide you through the visa application, embassy interviews, and any required documents to ensure a seamless application process.

Pre-Departure Orientation

Our comprehensive pre-departure orientation prepares you for your upcoming journey to the USA. You’ll learn about U.S. teaching standards and receive guidance on managing personal needs while living abroad. A detailed handbook will also be provided, outlining essential information to facilitate a smooth transition to the U.S.

Post-Arrival Orientation & Relocation

Upon arrival in the USA with your Cultural Exchange Visa, Whizzix USA is here to support you in making a smooth transition. We offer comprehensive relocation assistance, available for an associated fee to cover expenses. Our team will greet you at your port of entry and provide relocation services, along with post-arrival orientation sessions tailored to help you adjust quickly to your new environment.
